Bollywood movie, Guzaarish with leading star cast, Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai, is reportedly said to be receiving good audience response in UK, placing it at the top 10 highest grossing movies this week.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Guzaarish has grabbed ninth position on the list, leaving behind Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part One.
The basic theme of the movie involves around a paralyzed magician who after undergoing tragic incident tends to end his life by
taking resort to euthanasia (mercy-death). The movie is reported by Femalefirst online to have ranked in 1, 63,988 pounds.
The movie got a poor response from the Indian box-office in spite of having good reviews.
‘Due Date’ slumped to second list in the UK list but topped ‘Deathly Hallows’ given to its gross earning, 1.2 million pounds.
‘Despicable Me’ remained unbeaten at number three slot while sci-fi film ‘Skyline’ slipped to number four.
‘Jackass 3D’ lost its position on number five in the list.
“Red” remained unbeaten at number six while animated movie “Alpha and Omega’ came onto number seven position.
“The Social Network” slumped to number nine while “Another Year” of Mike Leigh stayed at number ten.
